What Is JOY²Wellness?

Journey of You + Jewels of Yours = JOY²

JOY² is the expanded and integrated concept of JOY in the Journey Of You™ and the Jewels Of Yours™ — the internal and external dimensions of growth, healing and whole-person wellness.

          Journey Of You™ (JOY):

The internal, self-generating path of emotional wellness, identity, healing, and purpose.

This dimension focuses on what originates within…your thoughts, beliefs, regulation strategies, internal motivation, values and self-worth. This is your Emotional Bank Account in motion.

        Jewels Of Yours™ (JOY):

The external assets, insights and connections you collect, learn or are exposed to along the way... from education, relationships, environment, experiences and even trauma-informed lessons.

These are the tools, affirmations and experiences that add value to the emotional bank you are building.

      Together, they create JOY²:

A balanced, enriched sense of Self, grounded in both internal ownership and external support, forming the foundation of the JOY²Wellness™ Model.

Mental Wellness Matters

Mental Health does not discriminate…Mental Health Illness is in every culture and every community.

  • In America, 1 out of 5 adults suffers from a mental illness.
  • More than 50% of people with a mental health condition do not receive treatment.
  • Each year, 6 million men suffer from at least one mental illness.
  • It is common for depression to occur with a medical condition.
  • Mental health disorders are more prevalent than cancer, diabetes, or heart disease.

Treating your mental health is an asset, reflecting strength, not a weakness!

Let’s break down stigma so no one struggles in silence

Let’s start talking about it!
